| Fast Facts |
Popular in reefs and safe with corals, this is a hardy, cryptic species that generally does great in captivity. They have a slightly scrappier disposition than some of their close relatives and should not be kept with overly docile fishes. It is best housed in a community aquarium with moderately bold, dissimilar species that are likely to ignore it. When first added to the aquarium, it will spend lots of time peering from cracks and crevices. Like all Pseudocheilinus, the Disappearing Wrasse will aid the reef aquarist in controlling pyramidellid snails and commensal flatworms. |
